Frequently Asked Questions.

The questions CRE teams ask us most, answered plainly. Still stuck? Anything you ask on a demo gets a straight answer too.

Getting started

How long does it take to build my first tool?

Minutes. Describe what you need, and Playgrounds builds a working app with its own database behind it, not a mockup. Most first apps are live before your coffee gets cold.

What if I don't know how to describe what I need?

Describe the outcome the way you'd brief an analyst: "watch my rent roll and flag units below market." Playgrounds asks the clarifying questions and starts you from working CRE templates you can refine.

Why isn't ChatGPT or Claude enough on its own?

Generic AI is a conversation. Playgrounds is an operating system. It starts from a CRE framework, so it knows what a rent roll, T-12, or IC memo needs, and what you build becomes a real, shareable app connected to your live data instead of a one-off chat output.

Data and security

Do I need my IT team involved to connect our data?

Not to start. You can build apps and connect spreadsheets and files yourself. When you're ready to connect core systems, IT stays in control of what connects and how. Playgrounds frees your IT team for the bigger projects; it doesn't work around them.

Is my data used to train anything?

No. AI features run under enterprise terms that prohibit training on your inputs. Every record is tenant-scoped, encrypted in transit and at rest, and stays yours.

How do I get my own data in?

Drag a file into any app, connect a system like your PMS or accounting platform, or have our team onboard everything for you. See Data 101 for how each route works.

Plans and billing

Can I cancel if it's not the right fit?

Yes. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Free stays free, no credit card required.

Which plan should I start on?

Start free and build something real before you decide. When you need more seats, more credit or access control, the paid tiers are laid out on the pricing section.
